About Dr Himani
‘Hi, my name is Himani, I am an IMG from India and a TrewLink Mentor. I graduated from Mumbai, India in 2019 and came over to London in May 2021 to start my first NHS job as an SHO in General Surgery at the Barts Health NHS trust. My PLAB journey was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride as I completed it through the pandemic.’
About Dr Tanzina
‘Hi, I am Tanzina, an IMG from Bangladesh. I moved to the UK in 2013 for my postgraduate study as I had opportunities to work as a researcher. I am in the process of joining as a clinical fellow of the Acute Medicine department at Birmingham.’
About Dr Ayesha
‘Hi, I’m Ayesha, a Bangladeshi IMG and a Psychiatry non-training CT doctor working in London. I got my GMC registration in August 2021 through the PLAB route. For me personally, it has not been an easy journey at all, especially when you have to go through different exams which are required to start working as an IMG NHS doctor.’
