About the Course

With the support of Jordan Paramedic society (JPS), the JPS and MD Guidance will implement the Basic Life Support course with American Safety and Health Institute accreditation. 

Jordan Paramedic Society (JPS) is a Jordan non-profit, non-governmental organization, and one of the leading medical institutes in Jordan in medical management & awareness, health development, emergency response, and disaster management. Its vision is to ensures an international standardization of emergency practice by providing a valid, uniform process to assess and retain the knowledge and skills required for competent practice by EMS professionals throughout their careers.  

The American Safety and Health Institute is an association of health and safety educators based in Eugene, OR that provides certification in CPR, First Aid, and other basic topics for laypersons and professionals. Certification by the ASHI is generally accepted as valid and equivalent to similar certification given by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association in CPR and First Aid.

Basic Life Support Course

MD Guidance will provide 60 training spots that will target the intern doctors and fresh graduates and those who are in need for the course. the course will be accredited by the ASHI and be held in Gazastrip. The costs of certificate are funded by the JPS.

  •  When? December 2025 – January2026, The first will take place on 13th of December. 
  • Where? Gaza Strip
  • Target? intern doctors and fresh graduates and those who prove to be in need for the course
  • Test? At the end of the 4-hour training you will apply a test to be granted the course.
  • Costs? This course is fully funded. The cost of the course per applicant is 50$.
  • The course will be a 4-hour training and will be held in one session.
