About the scholarships

The Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING), is offering up to three fully funded MSc scholarships for Palestinian nationals for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This opportunity enables Palestinian students in biomedical and life sciences to pursue advanced postgraduate education at a European center of excellence. The program provides full financial support and hands-on experience in research laboratories and applied biomedical sciences.

CING is internationally recognized for excellence in neuroscience, genetics, molecular medicine, and biotechnology. It serves as both a postgraduate educational institute and a referral center for advanced biomedical and clinical sciences.

Funded MSc Programs

The scholarship applies to the following accredited MSc programs:

  • MSc in Molecular Medicine
  • MSc in Medical Genetics
  • MSc in Neuroscience
  • MSc in Biotechnology

All programs are accredited by the Republic of Cyprus, recognized across the European Union, and officially recognized by the State of Palestine.

What the Scholarship Covers

Each selected scholar will receive:

  • Full tuition coverage (€8,000)
  • A monthly stipend of up to €1,000 for 12 months to cover accommodation and living expenses in Cyprus
Minimum Entry Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field from a recognized institution
  • High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • English language proof one of the following (mandatory):
    • IELTS Academic ≥ 6.0
    • TOEFL iBT ≥ 85 (Home Edition not accepted)
    • Cambridge IGCSE ESL ≥ Grade C
  • Two academic references
