About the Program
It’s MD Guidance’s pleasure to announce the first of its kind program, MD Guidance US Visiting Medical Student Program that will provide annual spots for medical students to rotate in the US in collaboration with many of the US consultants and physicians. With a total of 24 spots this year, both medical and surgical specialties.
All medical students requesting clinical rotations must apply through the MD Guidance Visiting Medical Student Program 2025/2026. The program will enable Palestinian medical students to apply and compete for the training spots that are provided by MD Guidance. The selection process will be based on your application and a scoring system. It will ensure fair competition based on your application.
MD guidance provides the institution approval and will connect the student with the supervising doctor. It’s the candidate’s responsibility to take care of Visa application, accommodation, and travel. The rotations dates start from 1st February 2025 till Mar 2026. The student can apply to whatever is suitable for him/her.
Application Timeline
- Application Dates: Applications for the 2025/26 academic year open on November 1st, 2024. Applications will close on November 30th, 2024, about five months before the first start date but is subject to change at any time due to the number of applicants.
- Acceptance/Denial: After reviewing your application, you will be notified of acceptance or denial via email about 30 days after the application closure. Once your acceptance and rotation have been confirmed, you will be sent an invitation letter. The student will complete the additional requirements that we will send in an email If Needed like a vaccination profile.
Fee: No fee is required to process your application processing and no fee is required by the Hosting Hospital
Am I eligible?

Based on the rotation, we accept 4th, 5th but mostly 6th year medical students who are registered within a recognized medical school. Check each rotation page to know its specific eligibility criteria.
- CV, Valid Passport, Enrollment certificate, and your enthusiasm are usually enough. But some few spots are asking for USMLE step 1 passing.
