Applicants receive a written test. Those who pass the scientific interviews for the stage of administrative interviews, in which they meet with several consultants. Through this interview, the applicant will be asked some personal questions and others about the reason for choosing the specialty and the concerned hospital and the extent of his knowledge of the hospital, in addition to some scientific questions related to the specialty.
To prepare for the written test, the applicant studies the books he used to study and some are advised to study UW, and questions from scientific books according to the specialty such as Absite and surgical recall for general surgery, but there is no specific source for the test.
There is no specific distribution of points, but it is worth noting that a graduate of the University of Jordan or who has done an internship at the university has additional points. Still, the final selection depends more on the written test and the scientific interview.
