Here ends the hard work and the comforts come for you. After you have taken the TUS exam and finished your specialization period, you become a specialized doctor who can work in every hospital in turkey either governmental or private. Unlike the doctor who only passed the STS exam, he can only work in the private sector.
The salary for a general physician in private does not exceed more than 1500 US dollars, and it is double for a specialized doctor.
Working in turkey with a specialization out of turkey
A specialist or consultant doctor can work in Turkey, provided that he passes the equivalency exam, STS. And you have to go through the same process that we mentioned before.
To work in turkey after you passed the STS, you need to submit the following documents:
1- Your Equivalency Certificate
2- Your passport translated to Turkish
3- Your Specialization certificate
4- Document that shows the period you made the specialization in.
5- Document shows that your organization has an educational and training license to give certificates.
After you submit these documents, the ministry will assign you to a university hospital to work for 2-3 months in your field, and finally, pass a verbal exam. Then your specialization certificate will be valid in all Turkish hospitals, Congratulations.
